So glad I retired. I kick myself because I stayed 5 - 7 years too long, but after 34 years, and seeing the ridiculously horrible MGMT the last 3... I had enough.
“This isn’t personal,” they said.
“Just a strategic decision.”
We got the invites—“Touch base,” “Quick sync,” “Important update.”
No explanation, just blank faces on Zoom and legal reading from a doc like they’d never heard of us.

How are there jobs posted that many people who were just let go, could easily fill and accel in? Was it really that important to clear out long term people with an opinion and stock options that hadn’t vested. MD is completely incompetent and I think less of EH daily.
You are the keyboard warriors coming to this site defending Nike. You must be the privileged ones with no experience in the field you’re trying to fit in. We know who you are……
Managers and directors coming here to defend Nike is just sad and pathetic…goes to show you what type of leaders they are.
The thing to me is, it's shocking how incompetent management is at doing these layoffs. Everyone at director level or below is in the dark, and senior directors know little. You'd think a company as big as Nike would be run by competent people. Not so.
Loving the desperate energy from the freshly fired and soon-to-be-fired clowns still posting like they matter. Keep the comedy coming.
HR and/or hired id__ots, the damage to the brand is already done. Posting nonsense in the sub comments does nothing. look at your downvotes
It’s not ‘another’ keyboard warrior. It’s the same person making low effort posts daily.
