Anyone else being inundated with expensive plastic trash garbage they are expected to fit somewhere on the floor and sell? Just the most id--tic things for us to carry!!!! No one wants a plastic boba tea LED light for $30. Not to mention the 10,000 water bottles and tumblers, I swear every single day I get a new tumblr style!!!!

@q4 I just told them to stop sending me more phone cases. I have 40+ varieties. The planner's response "eh, maybe next year" Worthless.
@q4 it's ridiculous to say that. Planners can see on hands and sales. It's not our job to tell them what's on hand. We have stores to run with no staff

@q4 tried that throughout the last year, near to impossible. Always a fight to stop merchandise and to get merchandise. Obviously those working OTC must know better than those on the front line. (Even with data driven metrics)
Instead of complaining as you always do, notify your planner of the overstock. You can then transfer to another store or shutoff replenishment of certain products. You guys make mountains out of everything.

i cannot BELIEVE the number of tumblers and water bottles we have! We have so much backstock that it is getting hard to find a place to store them. We have 4 shelving units alone full of this stuff and they are not selling like follett thinks they should be. Pretty soon we will have nothing but drinkware... oh, and bedding that doesn't sell... *insert eye roll here
And it is summer so we won't sell half of this cr-p since there are very few if any students on campus. I am afraid to see how many pallets of freight we will get in August and no where to put it all!
