Working on my certifications. Reviewing my budget. Already have a year’s expenses in cash.
This layoff hit my area fairly high up. Felt like they were making room for leadership changes more than thinning the herd. Reorgs su-k because of all the thrown away work but once you get used to them you realize it’s a working vacation for 3-6 months. Where planners don’t have all the answers and need time to rebuild the roadmap,
Still hoping things settle down, but I want to be ready if things start moving fast,,,
they said layoffs are done, so probably not
I’ve started quietly looking, just in case.
It’s hard to tell what’s actually going to happen, and I’d rather be prepared than caught off guard. Not jumping ship yet, but I’ve updated my resume and been poking around a bit.
