@af SEC is impacted for sure, multiple ppl gone already
How far in advance do they send the invite?
@aj what org was this?
Mine was only with Dr Dir but when I logged on HR was there. So far everyone who had a meeting today was let go. My org is up to about 10 so far between Product, Engineering and Program.
Not to get your hopes up but I once got one of these, invite from my VP (double skip) out of nowhere, and it was a title only promotion. Good luck OP.
HR won't be on the invite but they will be in the meeting. Sorry, but it's a layoff.
@op - i don't think SEC would be impacted because we just went through this once.. no reason to do this again logically.
HR could be on bcc. That’s what happened to me
@OP Not being insensitive, but do let us know please
Any email invites in Tech Ops ?
There will be HR although not on the invite. They will keep their video and audio off
Usually the layoff invites are first, so an invite today is not a good sign. Occasionally an early invite it will be a role change, especially if there are no layoffs at all in your org.
The title is Org Activation Touchbase. Not sure if it tells anything.
You can't see HR in the invite.
Not everyone in my org has an invite. Some do not.
I got the same meeting for an all clear last year so these meetings aren't that telling yet. We'll know in a couple of hours. Honestly glad we didn't have to sweat it out all week.
Yes. Its a layoff.
everyone will get an invite - either an all clear or a sayonara. last year, my all clear was at 3pm on Friday. Had a whole week to stress out.
is invite is an indicator for layoff?
It typically comes through from a senior director or above… you have no idea HR is there until they inform you they are waiting for an HR resource to join. These will be 15 minutes calls.
It's short and is not normal. Never got anything like this before.
Is it short? Is this normal behavior? If not, those are probably clues.
