WIM may be based in STL but there is not a single senior leader under Barry S located there. EK shows STL but he actually lives in Las Vegas. Almost all are in Charlotte or HY. They would love to move it to the newly renovated Charlotte buildings.
Most employees there NOW are call center people, but that wasn't the case when they had 4k+ people. If displacement = less valuable, then it appears that the call center people are more valuable than anyone else. They are basically the last to go. Every other LOB has been jacked already.
OP here. My bad, I meant to say 2026!
It couldn’t be done logistically by year end even if they wanted to.
@b8 Ed Jones is undergoing a massive restructuring & just offered 3000 home office employees voluntary severance packages in their first round of cuts & Stifel is on a hiring freeze from most have said. You might want to read the news. The St. Louis financial market is struggling.
Derp
The 4k in STLor more valuable than the call centers in Portland
Portland had North of 4k too. How's that working out?
No.
STL is one of the main hubs for Wells Fargo. The experience here helps employees get another job easily at Stifel or Edward Jones
It’s a dump and it sure is a lot of people but yall ugly as heck
There are over 4k people. Risk and control might have 100-200.
WIM (and related) has over 2k people there. They aren't closing.
That is true. We were notified today.
Wim is headquartered in St Louis. OP makes no sense
Best move by CS. Downtown is ugly and 1% tax robbery
Hahaha...you need better sources
