"KKR has waited patiently—time to cut middle managers."

From my sales perspective, I'd like to see new marketing leadership at the top. Renu and her direct reports have no new programs that positively impact the pipeline. The revenue decline will continue if nothing is done to change this situation.

Yes, anyone who dares to challenge Jared’s opinion is publicly humiliated. I’ve witnessed this situation quite frequently, and I’ve seen others face the same fate. He is an abhorrent leader.

Most people don’t report this because they’re afraid to lose their jobs, especially in the current market. Few who tried to report were advised to keep quiet, as they could get into trouble and lose the battle.

@ez, about this “He’s a self-promoting individual who constantly undermines others on a weekly basis. “

What are the types of roles that he’s constantly undermining? Are these people that report up to him within his own org plus his peers? Undermining Engineering and Sales while extolling his own org?

I’m too deep in the trenches and have no direct encounters with his echelon to hear what he’s saying.

When will Jared be fired? He’s a self-promoting individual who constantly undermines others on a weekly basis. Many people are witnessing this, but no one is taking action.

There are numerous headcounts under him who are not responsible and are not contributing to the company’s success. Some people in leadership want to reduce the SE team, which already handles customer success responsibilities.

Jared is irresponsible and is covering up many problems. His entire team is operating without proper leadership.

KKR must investigate this matter. They should look at the headcounts under him and measure the return on investment. It’s nearly zero.

"So much dead wood in this place all the way up and down the chain."

Agreed, those with a decade (or more) are coasting to retirement and couldn't care less about Omnissa's profitability. KKR has waited patiently—time to cut middle managers.

They need to let go of the employees who aren’t contributing. At least the SE team can support customers. There are several areas that don’t add value anymore and can be reduced, look at the tech marketing team, the adoption team, and the senior managers and directors in sales who aren’t doing anything.

Finally, the number of VPs in product management who aren’t adding any value should be reduced. Let’s fire at least three of them, and it will significantly improve the team morale.

They are going to shrink the SE team and turn it into a "Pool" model in terms of function and commission. In other words, instead of 100 SEs scattered everywhere today they will have a group of 50 SEs doing the job of 100 SEs globally.

Any way to shrink resources and save money to show increased profitability!

only that? They need to replace the entire leadership team, rebuild it from ground up and accept the fact they wont have revenue more than 600M a year, provided they can stop the customer bleed... Bunch of d-mb as--s in charge. So much dead wood in this place all the way up and down the chain.
