Dropped LTD, added critical care. Thinking of dropping other items. Currently with over $550 per paycheck taken out, $ has to come from somewhere. Maxing out FSA again though. With the drop in everything else, WF always says, "Just use your FSA". Well, that's still MY money, not WF sponsored benefits. Unfortunately, I have to lower my 401k contributions for a while. Isn't it funny how those at the to levels say no inflation increases in pay because it has already peaked and not really a big deal yet the #1 reason why they say our healthcare costs are going up is because of inflation?
Can someone please tell me how much salary constitutes ‘highly compensated’? Is it 100k or 150k?
Left on my own a couple of months ago. Dropped by today because it’s a Thursday and, yep, layoffs.
Benefits at my new gig were lower price/higher coverage than my WF benefits and now they send a message saying they are going to absorb 2023 increases to help people deal with inflation. I could not believe it!
There are places that will treat you well out there, don’t let WF make you miserable.

The biggest kick in the ba--s is the reduction in the max, from $5k to $2.5k, for daycare FSA for "highly compensated" people. It's my money, why do they care? So now my healthcare is going up $400 plus additional taxes on the other half of the daycare FSA. This also after my healthcare going up $800 in 2022.
