I was the laid off today after working at wells for 6 years! I got the call today , then 5 minutes later my manager has a meeting with the rest of my department letting them know!

There were 31 Maryland employees laid off
Many Maryland employees were let go ( mortgage employees who were put in banking in January and Loss Mitigation managers and team leads) with Everyone RTO, it's only a matter of time before all Maryland employees are laid off.
I was laid off in March 2021 after 42 years along with the others in my department. Retired in 2022.
Get your resume ready right away because hiring starts with a frenzy in January. Good luck!

I was laid off from Wells Fargo after 16 years on Dec 1st 2020. I took the severance in the form of extended pay since they let me keep my healthcare that way , so I got 60 days notice which I did not work and then started my severance leave for the rest of 2021... after my severance package ended , I received unemployment for a while but my cobra payments were 1300 a month so I found a new job. I didn't have to manage anyone and I received 30% more base pay and a higher bonus percentage. It may be a tough world out there but its not hard to find a job. I have been at my new job for 8 months and love it!!! Take your time and relax a minute and then work on getting a better job... I am sure you will succeed.
23 years with the bank and was laid off yesterday as well.

at least you get minimum 8 weeks severance which lasts through the holidays.. hope you can relax and enjoy some time off.

You obviously have skills since you were originally hired here. Have faith in yourself and go out and find another position with a better firm. Don’t let negativity get the best of you.

Sorry to hear it, I was told a few other people on our group team were laid-off. Take a week, then hit the pavement, you land on your feet.

We had a person laid off today for not being at a hub location.
So sorry this happened to you but in the end you will be better off. If I was not so close to retirement I would be gone.
