They gave my team 25% more work. Then laid off 1/3rd of the team.
They were supposed to be hiring a contractor to help with the new workload. We asked about giving it to one of the people laid off so we didn't have to retrain. HR said the person had to be gone for 12 months before they could be rehired into a contract position. We know this is BS because they just rehired several layoffs into contract positions.
The total radio silence while they are traumatizing people wreaks of contempt. If they gave a F they'd have come out and said, 'hey, it's been tough and we are doing things we think will help, etc'. They're too busy planning how they're going to spend their bonuses. Their character is coming.
