I’ve come to realize that Humana is full of incompetent leaders that get their position based on who they know not what they know or earning it. They don’t know what they are doing. It’s very shameful that there are many who qualify and should be in leadership role but Humana lacks in diverse leadership and fairness.

Pfffft lack of diversity, puhhhhlease! This company hires based on skin color regardless of competence! It is full of black and brown people who can barely read, yet lead others!
HQRI has a tradition of employees making their grand exit due to cr-ppy leadership. One particular “leader”really ought to embrace their destiny and return to slinging footlongs at Subway. Some journeys are just meant to go full circle.

@OP agree with you. Most managers with their own team that have been here 5 years or less in their management position su-k so bad it isn't funny. They promote the d-mbest id--ts that shouldn't be running their own household alone. Most are not educated enough or have enough knowledge to make things work properly and should be RIF. I hope they get them out of here and get these teams someone they can count on as a leader.

@ck Nepotism abound but I have to say that I don’t see many “mercy” DEI hires. Most senior leaders are not diverse in any manner. It’s the plain white bread club that hires their friends.
Same pattern of hiring based on cronyism and then avoidance of new leaders to learn med records, workflows, what worked or did not and putting another shiny wrapper on the same lollipop that was dragged in dirt before. Tastes the same also.

@OP humana lacks fairness, to your point. However, they hire based ON diversity and pride on DEI and trust, many of their leaders Didn't Earn It.
