Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

General information on mission 1

This is just info I found digging around through documents on “the source”.

For starters there is no mission 2,3, whatever. Mondelez’s “mission” is to be the #1 dsd company, hence the mission 1.

There’s only going to be 3 “waves” as they put it. Aka the restructuring process.

Wave 1, which already happened October 1st. (4th quarter)

Wave 2, which starts Jan 1st (first quarter)

Wave 3, which starts April 1st (second quarter)

I couldn’t find any documents saying what regions are starting when. Trust me I looked.

Second I found a couple documents congratulating people on being promoted to rms. It seems regions that went through wave 1 are going to have 2 rms’ to handle the influx of more full time order writers.

If I find anything else I’ll be sure to post.

The future is DSD…..

  1. eliminated slow selling sku’s.
  2. collect as much data as possible.
  3. orders will be generated sent cross doc via Mondelez warehouses.
  4. merchandising models will slowly drift away.
  5. amazon era has arrived.
  6. Mondelez stock to the moon!!!!

Sounds like a disaster. Just wish I at least knew when my team is going.

If you don’t have help - coverage in place it’s a disaster and I don’t mean just a body to order and throw merchandise .. need someone that knows atleast 75% of what they are doing or trust me it’s bad for the 20-25 stores territory’s

Again, I hate misinformation. There is no stupid mission 2…3…4… will there be “phases” of mission 1? Most likely in the future. Mission 1, is simply put, to be the number 1 dsd company. Again, their “mission” to be number “1”. This is why we had to do the surveys…
Wave 1-3 is when each region rolls out the start of mission 1. We have never rolled out a new program all at once. I have been through idk how many “restructures” I know how this goes.

Wave 3 is mission 3 wh here in the dc / balt region we already going thru the bs. Wave 2 does start 1st for the to regions who have already started my layoffs coming which will mostly likly be reps since we are training merch to do our jobs.

Frito is going thru the same bs we are they are no longer writing orders is just merch work. Here in the dc balt n.va area.

Start looking yall and stop bullsh-tting. Because it will be on you not to have a back up plan

I wouldn’t doubt that’s their end game.
At least in my area all dsd vendors have a full time employee that orders/merchandises 3+ stores. Obviously depending on geography and volume.
You figure if it went this direction… no company car, no bonuses… definitely save money in the long run.

Yep, adding another RMS cause they need more and more merchandisers as they are clearly going to get rid of sales reps.
