It's going to be worse. Apple and Amazon already announced about less hiring till September 2023. Oracle has more plans to shed as it has more headcount and will become lean. People who struggled with Oracle, this might be your last exit.

Seems like LE & SC are over Oracle & their focus has to be Cerner & Nvadia. The handwriting has been the wall, for some time. They haven’t invested, updated and certainly have ignored serious mgmt issues. The place is a mess. There is going to be some consequences from issues that come to light. It’s not going away and they are not going defend the ones at fault. They’ll get fired and will be on their own to face west is ahead. Orwcle is not responsible for individuals that do not follow the rules.
Too much money, lost interest with no accountability can not bring positive results. They paid middle mgmt to take care of the employee and customers. They did not do their job. They have to focused milking O for their own personal greed. Facts are facts.
It’s also obvious that they chose not to change with the market, not to compete. Products are outdated. There are no sales. Oracle hates their customers not exactly a good plan. They abuse employees. Mgmt failed.
Now it is melting away. They don’t care. The industry is suffering, I guess they saw that coming. LE is out of touch with medical records. HIPAA exists.
Seems like it’s time to turn out the lights & move in a different direction .
Rebranding is reality.
Cerner was an expensive troubled entity., a huge challenge. Hope it works. Maybe Nvadia will be a growth area at least for
shareholders.
It’s a sad story and I hate that many are having to go through all of this. Thus not the typical annual layoff. This is rebranding as they have said.
