Why healthcare may be Oracle’s road to a more competitive CX solution

In Larry Ellison’s keynote at Cloud World, he laid out an ambitious plan for developing a national – if not global – electronic health records databases so patients and providers can go to one place to access all of their health records. Oracle’s ability to successfully execute on the plan as part of its overall industry applications strategy may very well be a harbinger of Oracle’s future in the competitive Customer Experience (CX) space.

So once Safra and her spreadsheets get ahold of my health data, will she RIF my life?

If anything, Safra would be the one to ki-l my grandma—and she probably wouldn’t even communicate it to me either.

The idea of LE and SC controlling anyones healthcare data is terrifying. Fortunately it will fail just like OCI, no matter how many times they mention the word “autonomous.”

If Oracle bought up The Pontiac name and started making cars, would you buy one?

That's all you need to know.

Lots of tech orgs and leaders have proposed this vision. Yet somehow, I still have to provide a complete health and medication list to my regular health providers. Each and every time. Even if I was just there the previous day!

Access to healthcare records is well regulated. Fines for breaches are extreme compared to other security breeches. Larry's vision is fraught with danger that could lead to massive security risks if done as haphazardly as other Oracle initiative leading to fines the likes of which Oracle has never seen before.

It will fail. Just like OCI taking over AWS. An ideal while partaking on the plants found in HI. Implementing is the hard part plus all the compliance and regulations.

So, niche player status, while they grab our data and re-sell it in any way they can.

The future is dark.
