Thread regarding Global Payments Inc. layoffs

I'll say it

Ever sense TWoods took over this place has gone down hill..Used to be a fantastic place to work but over the last 7-10 years or maybe shorter it has dropped tremendously. It is a matter of time before everyone is let go and they move to Atlanta..Thats a fact..No one is safe...Since Global has taken over Worst place to work in America!!!!! Wanted to post a long time never had the nerve.....This place su-ks! and don't forget Patty W...She is a "real" winner too..I call her Galactus cause she goes around eating companies and getting folks laid off...Yeah Im bitter ..I worked long and hard for that place and they booted me aside like yesterday's trash.

Couldn't agree more. I often wonder what Phil thinks of all this. I can't imagine he would have ever led us down this path. I hope that when FIS takes over they'll appreciate what we bring to the table and actually give a cr-p about us. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I gave 17 yrs. I started tsys in my early 20s when Phil Tomlinson was ceo. You are right Troy sold out for money. I wonder if thus will.affect the economy of columbus. Its a bad time for people to have to sell their homes paid off and move to atlanta. I had to move to Atlanta as well when i got laid off August 2024 in the last big one. Atlanta is hard. Very expensive. Rent eats half my paycheck. If you move to Atlanta be ready to be depressed. Your commute is 3 hrs a day in traffic. I wish I could come back but there are no jobs. I was a but hopefully about coming back next yr since another company is supposed to take over but if the jobs are sent to india now, chances are they aren't coming back regardless of the new leadership. Why would fis want the campus of its going to.be empty?
