GT ETW…how do layoffs work here for us? HR meeting scheduled then they drop the hammer? Is it early or late in the day, or anytime? Told to WFH that day? By our manager or HR? Never spoken to HR once here, heard we may be affected so just curious how it actually works. Good luck to us all.

I started as an ETW so not trying to put down ETWs but ETWs are not being laid off. Layoffs only happen to FTEs. You are an ETW so your contract will be ended early and you’ll be notified by your firm. It will be simple and straightforward for the most part because there are no benefits or severance packages to discuss.
If you are an ETW, you will be told by your employer and not Nike.
