Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

How long can HPE do this?

I really don’t know HPE can continue to exist like this. Announce 10% layoff, acquire a company, struggle for a while - lather rinse repeat. It’s painful to watch.

Just like Meg Whitman chopped up HP for parts, Elliot Management will press HPE to do the same.

HPE is a cash cow. Just take a look at the financials why do you think Elliot management jumped in. They certainly didn't invest in HPE to lose money.

A 4 billion dollars a year in "positive" cash flow, but still needs regular layoffs. the math ain't really mathing...

HPE will be around until somebody acquires them. While they don't produce the profits that they had in the past they still generate over a billion dollars each quarter in positive cash flow. With a P/E @7 that's still the lowest in the industry this company isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Do you think FY2026 is the last year for HPE?

They have been acquiring companies for at least 30 years with various degrees of success. I don’t see that changing any time soon.

I agree. The SEC really should investigate. It does seem like HPE practices funny accounting with our quarterly statements.
