5/16 Presence Report Update

Under News & Alerts, it reads “5/16/2025: The team is aware that the data is only showing April. Please check back later for updates”

Is this Cr--ker Jack staff also aware that the data has been inaccurate since the beginning of the year? Once a day has occurred, how can your hours change? If you are going to send this upward and manage personnel decisions off of it, then get your data right and explain clearly how you’re pulling that data.

start firing people based on faulty reports and then brag about the stock prices John Stinky... you too Jeff McKel-vest"... personally sue those at the very top for MILLIONS... THIS HAS become a hostel toxic workplace. And especially for the Exempt managers.. Go ahead tell an exempt manager they MUST work +8 hours without extra pay.

"The presence report is wrong...."

I used to feel the same way. But if we don't cover our butts no one else will. At least this way you are documenting where you were, and that there is a problem with the report. That way if I'd ever comes back on you you can reference those emails and timestamps you've captured etc.

Who knows, maybe with enough noise they will actually fix some stuff. Wishful thinking I know, but it's really about all we can do. If we sit back and do nothing, then we are accepting those erroneous reports as fact. Either way it's going to be used against you, so you may as well push to make it as accurate as possible or make enough noise that it gets fixed.

The presence report is wrong. I am in the office as required. I take pictures every morning and afternoon to prove my hours. I am now being told I have to generate an event log off my laptop and scan thousands of lines of 4pt type to find my in and out of the lan and provide to my boss so he can put in tickets for me. I now spend time doing this rather than doing my job. I feel harassed and like it’s time to lawyer up. Anybody else? I’m fine with coming into the office for the required hours. I am not fine with having to prove the report is wrong every week under fear of being dismissed due to someone else’s inability to do their job,

If you look to see who owns this report everything begins to make sense.

Right place.
Right duration.
Right time of day.

Meet these 3 criteria and all is good.

Nope, Nope and Nope.

When the data is inaccurate it does not matter if you are in the office for 9 hours if bad metrics show 7 and you can prove it. Everyone is capturing screen shots based on DLP Force and scripts we have written that shows logging in to AT&T Wifi and logging out times and we all are keeping accurate logs.

I’m sure this doesn’t help but may help someone. I realized my time in when ever after 8 am was because i was logging in too fast so now i wait for the lan connection to show in bottom right before i logon and its been much more accurate for me so if you have a lan connection wait for that to show before you logon. Takes a good extra 5 minutes but i got tired of stressing about missing half of entire days and can confirm that fixed mine. One day it said i got there at 3:30 which would have been my first break that day and i never get there after 7:45!!! Insert eye roll.

The hamsters that make the report run by spinning their wheels got stuck in traffic commuting to the office.
