How does it work in terms of returning equipment and paperwork? Is there a deadline? Will severance payout be affected if paperwork is not returned in time?

You will get a severance package via links and in the mail with all instructions. Pay is usually given on next pay period. They want to be done with you as soon as possible. I actually received an email after one year that requested i send the company laptop back. It was due to a duplicate ticket that was generated during process. Keep your receipts. I sent proof of delivery and copied my old manager. Have not heard anything else. Whole process was completed about 1 month after last work day. Moved on to better place. Glad to be out of toxic environment. Oracle was nothing more than a paycheck.
