transformation, transformation, transformation. That's all we here these days, it literally never STOPS!!! Changes literally everyday and to the point we can't keep up. They are just keeping their head above water after going against the government.
Well yeh this all boils down to the fact that most of the people in management positions at Humana are fat ugly, sociopathic trolls.
Humana has to keep the facade of transformation because it is so disorganized. Imagine a shareholder meeting where they couldn't discuss change and transformation! The questions would be related to the unmitigated sh*t show Humana has been for the last 15 years and also questions around the total lack of improvement over the same period. Keeping change and transformation in the spotlight, the board can claim that they are addressing any and all concerns that come there way. It's all smoke and mirrors.
To be fair to this board and previous ones... Humana has made a ton of money for stock holders but the obverse to this is the dreadful coverage for members. Remember Humana caters to those who have few resources and is priced as such. In these circumstances there is only enough cash to provide the stock holders and board with champagne lifestyle. The rest can just do without.
Agreed. we are all zombies and exhausted with zero true recognition led by mostly new leaders due to turn over.
My coworker asked a question in chat if the culture would be changed to reflect the company cares about psychological safety. It went unanswered. Town hall framing "transformation" as a good thing to people who are already overwhelmingly fatigued with change is tone deaf and disrespectful.
