I guess the tracking chips were faulty in the Covid vaccinations they forced the managers to take as a condition of employment. They just can’t seem to get a system that works.

Absolutely! They want to treat us like 8-5, clock punching assembly line workers, so we should respond in kind.
P.S. - There’s nothing wrong with being a factory worker. It’s they (rightly) get OT & we do not.
Log your own hours. Do your required time. Email yourself the report weekly. I track to the minute and when my boss said something to me about my presence report, I pulled out my spreadsheet. Haven’t heard a word since. The report shorts me 30mins to 1hr per day for some reason. Some days it shows 2 hrs, some 4. I know people doing 9-10hrs a day just to make sure the presence reports shows them over. Nope, don’t do that. Fire me or penalize me over your faulty report and see how fast this ends up in court.
now I'm clocking in on eastern time and clocking out on central time. losing an hour each day.

lol checked this morning and sure enough its wrong. Days it says I was here for 2 hours when I was here for 8. Days it says I was here for 30 minutes (??) when I was here for 8.
Thankfully I keep a detailed log of each and every day I’m in the office with notes.
You know why they are only showing January? Because they just fired a lot of people for not showing up on the report the first quarter. My guess is there is a class action suit for inaccurate reporting. For gash sakes, they even say on the report that there are known badge issues. Why would you walk folks out, knowing full well that in those same locations you have issues? The issue is decisions are being left to metrics teams who can’t fully perform their jobs and have zero insight into the situation, and they are wreaking havoc across the company, slashing systems people actually use, shooting out reports that are broken before a quality audit is done. It is costing jobs. It is only a matter of time before the class actions come out.

And the report will still not capture your hours correctly!
First the report reflected CST badge time and EST network time, then it changed to both CST. This week it is EST badge time and CST Network time. I am in exactly 8 per day but because of the time zone discrepancy I only show 7 hours. I have resorted to taking pictures at my desk to prove what time I leave. Clown show, we have been reduced to managing a report instead of real work.
They will be monitoring toilet paper usage next!!

Who cares? Because it’s been proven by many many people to be wrong, I’ve had multiple inaccurate reporting on my own hours, and if this is what they are using to fire people then you better care.
