A few of my colleagues were out sick today, I hope they don't get targeted for the upcoming layoffs...

Shareholders don't give a fu-k how the sausage is made so long as the sausage gets made efficiently and is of acceptable quality. And the sausage that gets made at U.S. Bank is fu---d up and sh---y, and it takes 50 people to make 1 sausage, not because of economies of scale, but because everyone wants to touch it and claim it as a result of their own efforts. The fu---d upness of the sausage isn't because people are working from home, this is because hiring practices are inconsistent at best, comp is poor, priorities are not set correctly, leadership is only interested in self-promotion, and so on. None of these are solved by requiring people to be in the office. It's a solution in search of a problem, an action disconnected from the issues it claims to solve. Even the real reason for RTO, propping up corporate real estate prices, isn't solved in the long term by RTO. Companies who don't RTO have lower costs, and can outcompete employers who do RTO. It's a failing measure to change culture so mortgage holdings don't end up underwater. Meanwhile, corporate real estate is selling for 1/10th its 2019 value.

You're in all of these comments threads just being a bitter troll. I'd say I think you're Gunjan, but you're probably just some loser in your mom's basement that doesn't even work for the company. I'd think she has better things to do than troll this forum, but clearly you don't.

You realize that most of the positions that would have any impact on this company as far as a walkout are not in the states anymore right? Like if the service advisors and people that answer calls walked out that'd be one thing, but most others? How do you think the place functions on holidays when nobody is around? One day means nothing. Repeated days of disruption, now that's another matter.

I'm all for sticking it to the man and making a statement but let's use our brains about the strategy ffs.

Tell us all you don't understand shareholders without telling us you don't understand shareholders.

Do you think that doing nothing will change anything? The thing about companies is that management does not actually do anything that makes the company money, or that is required for the bank to function as a bank. Individual contributors do. Individual contributors make the company work, and outnumber management by a factor of about 10. If individual contributors did not show up for work, the company would grind to a halt. If management didn't show up, it's just another Tuesday.

Dude, do you think you are Erin Brockovich or something? Are you going to lead some sort of nationwide uprising because our CEO is too cruel? Cruel rules the day, not sure if you got the memo on that.

"Foreign CEO" is a classless, racist comment. By using it you diminish your entire point.
