All the big smoke in D9 about offers for techs?

They gave it to any tech who wanted it in some yards. There'll probably be a forced rearrange coming.
Got mine in D9 sts tech off payroll 5/15 enhanced ESRO
There have been offers for awhile. Know of a few who have taken them. Basically smaller groups. And they supposedly did save some jobs. No idea of if they met their targets and what happened if they didn’t.
MSTs were offered in D9. Waiting on results.
District 6 just signed but we have not heard of any offers, usually offers precede a layoff so if they offer enough incentive to leave you take it, or you can wait for the surplus and take the surplus money!
Either way if you have the time and ready to go you can't really lose out!
Last time we had offers it was 50k in C and E and the guys that took were replaced by some of the folks from I and R that were willing to transfer no layoffs done then and that was in 2020.
D3, We had offers in 2020 for certain techs titles and most recent this past February. They were looking to reduce headcount and save some of the junior techs jobs. A win-win-win for the company, senior and junior techs. Don’t worry If you signed off on the offer, HR will be contacting you soon.
It moved straight to layoffs right after offer closed in D3 for System Techs. Of course surpluses are on a quarterly basis, the 15th before start of a new quarter.
Everyone should be prepared if it’s offered to them whether you should take it or wait and take your chances with the layoff process. Quandary for some, others it’s a bonus if ready to retire or move on if younger.
There has been offers for techs in D3.
The window to put in for your buyout closed last week, and no one has heard back if they got it yet or not. Is this the “smoke”? If so, it’s old news. If not? What is it?
I’m curious to know if they met their numbers. Some garages needed 10+ takers. Doubtful they reached that. The only real news after this is whether or not they do another round of offers or move straight to layoffs.
Not true, the company has been offering in other districts.
Not now nor will there ever be any offers. Wonder how many junior techs get to see the door for that contract.

Too expensive.
What big smoke?
It would really suk to be a manager.
Packages for managers are MUCH cheaper, but they refuse to offer them. What does that tell you?
