Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How many of the C-Suite is attending church this Sunday?

When you are worshipping this Sunday, do you really believe that you can lie to God and tell Him that your acts of evil to the employees is just business? Is that how you find comfort? It’s not going to work for you. You cannot destroy lives and claim that it wasn’t personal and that any harm was not your fault. You will be held accountable spiritually. Asking for forgiveness on Sunday while knowing that you will be evil towards employees again on Monday will not bode well for you either. You must repent and do good in the eyes of God. Turn away from your evil ways and ask the Lord for true forgiveness. Treat employees like your Brother and Sister because they are.

Church, religion, God...they have nothing to do with business decisions.

I’d love to go to those churches just to watch those self indulgent sociopaths burst into flames

vengence is mine saith the Lord
James 5:1-6 NIV
5 Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. 4 Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. 5 You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of sla-ghter.[a] 6 You have condemned and mu---red the innocent one, who was not opposing you

More likely, people tend to separate their personal and professional lives. Some live to the same standards in both, and some you would think were Jekyll and Hyde.

If you have a religious relationship, I suggest targeting your energies to being the best person you can be, and don't let unfairness/judgment/anger consume you.
