File a suit if fired or laid off. They will settle for big $$$. Cheaper to pay you a couple hundred grand to go away than go through a lawsuit. Seen it a bunch of times since I’ve been here.

RTO isn't changing until Stankey goes. And if Jeffy "I love my vest" McElfresh is next in line, it will continue to stay.

Get used to it. Make yourself as invaluable as possible. And as soon as the job market gets better, jump ship. Be part of the AT&T "Knowledge" Exodus and leave them with as little info as possible about what you do or how to do it.

I have been in my assigned office 78 days for 624+ hours in 2025, though my hours report says significantly less. I have sat in my car burning $1K of gas/maintenance in traffic commuting for 156+ hours. or the equivalent of 20 full nonproductive workdays over 4+ months.

I have seen 2 of my 30 immediate team members in person. I have not seen my boss, her boss, her boss, his boss, her boss, her boss, or John Stankey in person, despite working in a “hub location.” It’s a total farce that the reason for “full time” RTO is in-person collaboration.

Why is 5x8 not for everyone?

Great question! While half my office section is here daily, the other half comes in 3 days while their chairs are empty the other 2. I thought our culture valued Diversity, EQUITY, and inclusion?

Exactly. Some people wth the same title and in the same organization are given exceptions (and not medical either). Anyone fired over RTO really really should hire a lawyer. People are afraid to sue thinking they won't win but I've seen many a person get a settlement for less just hiring a lawyer because AT&T doesn't want things like this coming to court and especially not in the press.

“ They will do anything to nurture their ill gotten gains from the great anti-white, anti-older, anti-American workforce purge.”

Hey Grand Wizard I work in probably the most PC group in the company and the 5x8 is affecting us as much as anyone. Now go back to your cross burning and don’t let the flames touch your sheet. Or then again do let it. We’ll all be better off.

It’s not fake news. The liars and the cheats have no intention of keeping the pressure on their beloved new young hires and DEI gains. They will do anything to nurture their ill gotten gains from the great anti-white, anti-older, anti-American workforce purge.

Dig deeper!!! Someone posted yesterday about layoffs impacting their teams even though they were still hiring at the same time. Why is 5x8 not for everyone? Not enough capacity? Ok, sure, then why is 5x8 designated disproportionately to the demographic that is targeted and being purged? Did you ever see the result of this clown show workforce transformation? No, of course not. The BIG REVEAL will be when everyone is ordered back to work.
