GRE ?? told our manager there are more than 3000 employees at 3400 W Plano Pkwy. That doesn't seem possible. Even 1200 desks seems to be a stretch. Aren't we all required to be a** in a seat now?

Why complain about 3400? I moved to Texas 5 months ago. The employees here don't know how good they have it.
Got word today, rolling back to 3x8 on 10/1. Currently working for VP remek out of 3400
I've never had trouble finding a parking space or finding a desk. Most days on the 3rd floor, sometimes the 2nd flr. Never had to sit on the 1st flr.
Wednesday is the only day getting a desk is a challenge in Plano
"Much of the building is occupied by the Legg org"
How did Legg find so many jibber-jabbers in Texas?
Post from TheLayoff.com
This seems pretty unlikely considering they are working as we speak to add more seats at 2900 just a couple of blocks away from 3400.
I hear Plano will be eliminated eventually
"There's roughly 1,800 management and 1,100 contractors assigned to 3400"
Phone shows more than 3000 assigned as of 5/5.
There is a move coming to a large remodeled building in Richardson. Move in 3rd quarter 25 thru 1st quarter 26. Announcements will be begin to come out next week. There's going to be a lot of room.
So full of $hit dude. I hope everybody clearly sees the repeating LIES by the AT&T snakes.
All the dates are just out of reach to keep you looking ahead so you don’t see the flim-flam 3 card monty game these sc-mbags keep you occupied with. 1st quarter 26 dude? Sure, keep looking ahead as AT&T keeps chopping employees off and shoveling the the work to India. Keep waiting for that new, beautiful, remodeled building. BWAAAHHHHAAAA!!!!!!!
“Yeah, I may be wrong.”
True statement.
"There's roughly 1,800 management and 1,100 contractors assigned to 3400"
Yeah, I may be wrong about it but don't believe we have enough desks for half of that.
L5 weighing in here. We are laughing at you because we don't care. We didn't get here because we are focused on anyone other than the dividend, ourselves and our network, which doesn't include you. You are expendable.
I can’t believe so many people are still only doing 3 days a week.
What the fk!
I love been back since 1/5 and I have to work days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays.
Such BS!

"Any employee unable to figure out a solution to 5x8 should be placed on the surplus shirt list for future waves."
I guess that means AT&T should get rid of CRE in its entirety since it is their job to figure it out, and they haven't. That is a good idea! We can start with the A$$hole Michael Ford.
L4 weighing in. There was never and will never be a mandate of 5x8 for everyone. We are and always have been full of cheese sauce. If I could sneak in a hidden recorder and publish the laughter they have at your expense, you would all be furious. Once Wave 3, which is really Wave 6 if you account for delays and extensions, has been fully executed, expect the official word on a rollback to 3x8.
"the lease was renewed at 2900"
This is good news
"Any employee unable to figure out a solution to 5x8 should be placed on the surplus shirt list for future waves."
This is irrelevant to the OP and every comment that followed. Nothing has been mentioned in regards to the inability or unwillingness to meet a 5x8 mandate.
Wait until the new owners of the Dallas Morning News building west of 3400 move in and kick everyone out of the parking lot. I'm still curious how that plays out.
"Parking and building are already full. No way those people will ever be able to go 5x8 at this location."
You assume the current staffing rates remain flat. I don't disagree that the building is over capacity, but I'd imagine everyone remaining on payroll will get to 5x8 eventually. Side note, the lease was renewed at 2900 so hopefully that will take some pressure off 3400, but that remains to be seen.
"This has been extended monthly since March so take June with a grain of salt."

Some groups in Plano work either 3 or 4 day in office schedules, and don't seem to be concerned about the presence tracking report.
There's roughly 1,800 management and 1,100 contractors assigned to 3400, so he's not wrong. Much of the building is occupied by the Legg org, many of whom are still 3x8. Those who are not mandated, or voluntold, to meet 5x8 have been delayed until June. This has been extended monthly since March so take June with a grain of salt.
The contractors are generally exempt from 5x8 unless their reporting manager has instructed otherwise.
