Wait, wait. So you're mad that people are working at cafeteria booths instead of a real desk? I can assure you, they are mad about it, too. They're not going to get up just because you left your desk and want to eat in different scenery, because then they will have no where to work. How about you be mad at C-suite, who thinks it's acceptable to count cafeteria booth as a fu--ing workspace.

u mo--ns must not be located in dallas. the seating is awful when it comes to lunch time. these booth workers take up space when its just them. no wonder this company is going to sh!t cuz of all u id--ts with zero common sense.

Why does that bother you? Some people prefer to work in that environment because it’s more relaxed, the lighting is warmer and dimmer, the seating is more comfortable, and there are fewer active distractions to contend with. It’s easy to tune out the people moving around and talking in the concourse, but much harder to tune out people who you work with in a generally quiet office having loud calls right next to you.

Where people choose to sit to work should not have any impact on you whatsoever. If you’re this troubled by it, you should reach out to Lyra to take advantage of our Employee Assistance Program. They offer free therapy sessions to work through whatever you’re dealing with.

“ Dafuq are booth workers? ”

Must be toll booths as they’re are no more phone booths. Perhaps a waiter/waitress attending to customers in the booths?
