New Optum CEO

Witty emailed all of us today saying there’s a new Optum CEO, as Heather C is moving to a new role.

Was she potentially forced out so that Witty could tell the shareholders that we’re doing something?

Sounds like a big mess to be frank. What the heck is this lady doing in security? Another DEI placement like the CISO who was loving up on her directs, who had no experience with cyber and then got fired.

Now good leadership from Witty at all. Looks like his time is limited given the Board discussions.

OmG I can't believe this and with all UHC's poor publicity lately and then they add this to the mix. Lol. Perhaps they got him for a good deal because of his past.

What’s the deal with Witty? How long does he stick around? Feels like a train wreck around here with one problem after another.

Background check is only for worker bees not for peeps in the executive caste up top. Gotta be blitzed to sideswipe a tractor trailer on a straight section on 4 lane highway. I am sure this is not the first time he had poor judgement with the bottle just the first time he got caught. And we wonder why OptumRx has issues. Seems to be the pipeline for Optum CEO mangle OptumRx then you are ready to wreck the entire company. Rearrange the deck chairs and expect magic to happen it wont but the pockets will be overflowing upon exit.

So weird that many of my leaders are high quality people, inspire trust in those that work with them, and run businesses well. Why do we have this revolving door of clueless people at the very top? Why move forward with a drunk driving, child endangering person at the helm? Promote high quality VPs and SVPs to C-level roles instead of those proven to have poor (impaired) judgement skills and watch your company flourish.

I believe people can overcome things and change their lives.. however.. I'm curious what the standard is for the background check at this company. Would the same grace be given to the rest of us?

The trial lasted for about two hours at the Randolph County Courthouse in Asheboro.

According to the crash report, Conway had his two young daughters, 7 and 9 years old, in the car with him when he crashed into another vehicle on I-85 in Archdale.

The report states Conway, who was driving a Cadillac Escalade. crashed into the back of a Harris Teeter LLC tractor-trailer.

The documents reveal the trailer was in the outside lane driving south on I-85 when Conway was driving in the middle lane, veered into the outside lane, hitting the back left corner of the trailer.

No one involved in the crash was injured.

Conway refused a breathalyzer test and was arrested by Archdale police then taken to the Randolph County Jail, where he was released on a $2,500 bond.

Rupert was fired a few years back as CLO and placed in a new fake role over compliance, privacy and security to “let him go easy”. Now he’s been fired from that role and Heather, who was fired from her CEO role will take Rupert’s fake job.
