There will be a major restructuring in clinical and medical science. Keep an eye out week of May 6th.

I always thought clinical studies were a later stage of R&D. Seems to me there are still alot of unknowns and possible changes to the product/therapy from first in man to pivotal clinical studies.

On the other hand, I would hope that clinical studies can be more streamlined than those used to get renal denervation approved. Lots of time and money for a minimally effective therapy that only works in about 1/3 of patients. I have to laugh every time LinkedIn reports a new first time denervation at a US site. Must be up 5-10 by now despite special cost-savings FDA designation!

Engineering the extraordinaire without R&D? Yes, that makes a lot of sense.

Impossible. How would that move the needle in the short term? Unless the “R&D” that you speak of is M&A.
