Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

How do I join the “creative team” in marketing?

I would to love to join that team! Travel to south by southwest, Super Bowl, shark tank, LA, Vegas, Fla and not have to do any work. That is a great life! Oh, and you’re an SVP too!
Their leader's line is that they are “capturing content”,…you know, taking photos. Lol. I have an iPhone too and I can do it with one person instead of 10.

The secret is that the creative team doesn’t actually create anything! That team just hires an ad agency in Atlanta to do their creative work. What a joke! Spending shareholder money, not helping clover (their job) to bring in revenue and lying to all their clients (Our businesses).
Lying, cheating and stealing (misuse of Fiserv funds) all the way to the next big hiring spree of SVPs who are their friends and unqualified and like the rest of this terrible department.
As a shareholder, I’d like to see an audit of that whole department.
Where is our senior leadership? Everyone sees this, understands it and understands no one is stepping in the fix it.

The marketing team is a joke. I saw clover more 3 years ago than I do now. I’m glad they get to travel but can they market a little better, just a bit would help. I don’t care who is on the team they should now about the product they are trying to market.
A better commercial for Ms. Brown would have been walking into a store that didn’t have a Clover device and everything was sc--wed up. Processing was slow, customers unhappy, inventory out of control.
Lady Luck shows up, hands then a Clover, bamm inventory is complete, processing is lightning fast and smiles on the customer faces.

The marketing people don’t understand that clover is not a consumer brand. They are marketing it like it is.
No business owner wants to hear that clover will make you lucky. Running a business is all about hard work and long hours. Concepts that our marketing team are not familiar with.
The Tabitha brown ad is a complete turnoff to business owners.

Clover no longer sponsors a race car that it was 5 years ago. How is the team making a case to small business, clover users? These high end events do not seem to be the product audience, honestly sponsoring a race car team did make more sense (bring small business to tracks around the country to introduce Clover.) May be the team could defend the approach vs playing the race card doing so only adds fuel to the fire.

Some one is very mad about the marketing team lol we know they’re black! Get over it, no one knew what clover was when we had the old marketing team either. So at least they are doing their job bringing awareness to people of the product.

Not gonna lie. There output is garbage. I created this level quality almost a decade ago as a rookie designing things in InkScape.

It’s kind of a giveaway when every 3-4 days you post about “unqualified” (you mean black, right?) hires in marketing and use the same language and typos. We get it, you don’t like them.

Marketing can't save clover, Innovation and product quality will do, when employees given FREEDOM of choice to innovate, Product will do very well. Not when the FREEDOM is taken away.

These comments are not from the same person. This commentary is happening in groups in many departments in multiple cities. IYKYN, and obviously you don't care to know because you are one of the people who benefit from everything being mentioned here.

Obviously the same person is posting these exaggerations and outright lies about marketing every few days. Not sure the motivation but people who know see it fit what it is.

It is really sad that Fiserv won’t pay their hard working, loyal employees what they are worth, but then stand for this nonsense. A total moral burst on all levels, Fiserv will continue to bleed talent. The C suite are getting exactly what they’ve paid for in this team, a failing Clover and stock price.

I’ve heard the team will be touring Europe this summer. Wondering how many people, how much will it cost and what we will get for it.

No leads from any of their high cost, low yield trips so far. These people, have been here a year! Nothing to show for it except excessive cost.

The OP was right, if we can beat them, join them.

We should all adopt their work ethic.

Fire them all. Hire 2 fte and manage an outsourced (not one of their pals) team.
It would be a more capable team, it would cost A LOT less than what we pay for these misfits and they would actually support Clover and the other business groups.

That could be done in 30 days.

The outside audit is the stock price.

If there were a real outside audit, they would all be fired and some might wind up talking to the law.

Exactly.
Not only are they not additive to our business, they have a very negative impact due to both their lack of expertise in marketing and their very negative attitude toward the company, particularly our senior leadership.
Clover can not be saved by this department. They will continue to have a negative impact.
