How does Fiserv recoups the cash payout from the incentive comp? Do they deduct it from your last check or do you write a check for it?

honestly I don't think we have the capacity to pull it back, finance just kind of approves things and while they might have the right to, I think the systems and tracking almost hinder their ability to do so. The approval process is one of the most lax ones I have seen

Fiserv typically handles the recoupment of cash payouts from incentive compensation by deducting the amount from your final paycheck. This process ensures that the company can recover any overpaid incentive compensation without requiring you to write a separate check. However, the specific method can vary depending on the circumstances and the terms outlined in your employment agreement or severance package. If you have any doubts, it's best to consult the details provided in your severance agreement or contact the Fiserv HR department for clarification.
