What does anyone know about sams replacing cashiers with scan-n-go ?
Of course there's no communication so we don't know what's happening until it happens!
Anyone with any knowledge of how it will work or how many front end people will remain or be removed or go to help members on the floor or zone ? Will self checkouts remain?

They will lose a LOT of elderly members!!! Disgusting. I work at Sams Club and don't even know how to use Scan n Go myself as I am elderly, however I have worked there for 22 years and hold a "key position". It's all BS!!!!
What about older people? Company will be loosing lots of members..even now some people asking for the cards, saying I don't want load anything, I don't have a phone, I am not comfortable with the phone etc...it should be optional for sure
Google “Sam’s Club Changes” and you will see articles on the upcoming changes. Sounds like registers are going away and cashiers will now be out on the sales floor assisting members with the Scan and Go app. There are other changes as well.
They are replacing cash registers and self checkout with scan n go. Not sure what timeline it will be on
