The new leaders in CT&O are coming in as salary grade 117. This is folks like Head of Network and Head of Hosting. That's a base salary range of $250k-$500k with a bonus target of 65%.
I guess this explains why our CTO cut everyone's merit and bonus and why they last minute rejected all the promotions that were supposed to have been approved. Now we know where all that money is going.
This is pretty demoralizing. All the teammates who have done amazing work running our infrastructure get sc--wed to make way for these new leaders we're bringing in for crazy money from Wells Fargo.
I had higher expectations from our new CIO and CTO. I think everyone hoped that this time it would be different. Seems like more of the same and there's no real effort to fix our moral and culture issues.
