This company tells customers and employees alike that treating people with respect and helping them in their health journey are their most important values for doing business yet in practice treats them like dogsh*t on their shoes.
The business model adds to costs by injecting unnecessary middlemen salaries and bonuses. This leads to loss of confidence, business and revenue which is the recipe for enduring layoffs.

Planning doesn’t factor into layoffs other than figuring out how big the hole is in dollars, dividing that by the average colleague compensation, and then barking out that number of people to lay off as final without pausing to consider business damage and long term spiraling costs from the negative impacts. It’s true no one knows when layoffs at CVS will be, only that there will be layoffs at CVS.
No one knows the outcome of the workforce meeting yet. It was only last month. The preparations for the October layoffs started sometime in July.
Packages need to be prepared. Realignment need to happen.
Thanks for the update. Seems just a bit ago the 'here we go again' crew said 'big layoffs in April'.
Guess when you are wrong just add a month and post the same stuff.
