Off-shoring to India has nothing to do with obtaining quality work. It's all about cheap labor and filling the pockets of share holders. Our LOB continues to clean up their messes and fix their mistakes. In addition, they do not answer the customer's questions leaving them more frustrated. The executives know darn well this is a sinking ship. They're just trying to grab as many dollars as they can before it all cones crashing down. They will walk away with thier wallets full while employees and customers continue to suffer.

I've been trying to convince my skip manager to move some of these positions to Bengalaru. I still have friends and family there and could see them filling these roles better than people in Iowa.
Indians are great at leading and everyone loves having an attentive indian manager.
@a6 That's because the innovative talent is stateside. India is executive talent. If it can be done by following a list of steps, it can be offshored. If it requires critical thinking and decision-making, it has to be done stateside.
