More Teams are claiming assignment ownership of groups of drop-in workstations, refusing to allow employees to use them even when their own Team is not using the open workstations. Obviously one could ignore those trying to block access, but that only exacerbates a already hostile situation. Is there any single information source to either confirm legitimate seating assignments, or to report intimidation and harassment related to seating? Webphone does not show any such assignments for this location, but I do not believe this is isolated to any single location.

I agree it’s stupid and unfair. It’s already super hard to find a seat, but these “neighborhoods” they have dubbed to be their next move. So, leadership will likely tell you that you can’t sit in the designated areas, even though people are already fighting for desks and there are likely empty seats in specific spots.
This should be made publicly available to ALL employees in order that employees are aware where they can sit and definitely where NOT to sit if they aren’t part of that “designated” organization/group!
Several people have been taking video footage of similar confrontations. They are wanting to interview other employees on camera, saying it was to be provided to the attorney general. WTF is wrong with people when cr-p like this makes sense to them?
