The commute was barely manageable. Fortunately, my skill set is in demand, so I was able to find something else. Still, I had to resign. I was hoping for a layoff, but no such luck. I know I played right into the hands of the overlords—this has been the intention behind RTO all along. But I didn’t have a real choice. Like many of us.

You never really wanted to work.
Don’t feel bad, ABFS is implementing all kinds of nonsensical rules to get people to quit. I think the powers to be are micromanaging the techs to the point where they’re hoping techs will just stop and say, “enough is enough, eff this sh!t!” Many have or are already in the process of looking elsewhere, even supervisors have bailed and found happiness outside T.
Good luck in your new role as a wire tech.
This is a win, win!
sociopath overlords
T is a rotting cesspool.
“No need to announce your departure. This isn’t an airport.”
No need to be a dik you overweight slob. Now go finish off that chocolate cake you toothless wonder.
If you didn’t my want to work, good riddance!
A great employee leaves and makes room for another DEI replacement like above.
Boy you sure showed us didn’t you Jeremy?
No need to announce your departure. This isn’t an airport.
“The Stink is pleased! Another disappears without severance!”
That chrome dome megalomaniac will continue to turn the sc--ws to greatly increase the number of “exits”…..without severance.
McSelfish and Stinky for the win. Good luck to you.
Right behind you my friend. Leaving 6 months short of M75 but that multiplier won’t compensate for pay and benefits I need to rely on for another 12 years in the workforce and I can no longer consider AT&T reliable employment. Not worth a move at least.
You did what you had to do and will live longer without all the stress!
Congrats and good luck at the new job 🥳
Congrats. It’s a tough market out there.
Congratulations! When you get settled hire a couple more of us. I too am not excited about handing a win to McStankfresh Inc by leaving but they will lose in the end. Karma is real.
Hold the door, because the rest of us will be leaving in one way or the other!
Congrats to you Sir. Onward and upward.
Thanks for letting us know you didn’t turn to ash because you left this company. Congratulations and see you soon.
If you didn’t my want to work, good riddance!
