You will sometimes see a “C” after someone’s name in Teamworks but no Contingent after the title. Same thing. They are a Contractor or Managed Resource.

it probably means they had some special connection to get their foot in the door and will be made permanent through some backdoor process

Contingent (after the job title) usually means they’re a Managed Resource or Contractor, not an Employee with benefits. However the Contingent resource may be converted to FTE at the end of their contract or possibly sooner.
