15% raise is true! Feeling blessed

I woke up feeling incredibly blessed and thankful after seeing my paycheck this morning. The rumors were true—our 15% merit increase is real, and I couldn’t believe it until I saw the deposit myself. What made it even better was that it was retroactive to March 15th, which made the amount even more generous than I expected.

I’m so grateful to be part of Fiserv and truly appreciate everything our CEO has done—he will be deeply missed. And with M. Lyons stepping in, I’m confident that his vision and leadership will keep pushing Fiserv forward as one of the top fintech companies in the industry. Thank you!

It looks like VPs and SVPs are trying to sell "unicorns" to keep employees in the company and get the "attrition" bonus.
If you want to move on or quit, don’t wait for any internet promises.
It would be foolish of you to believe internet fake news; don’t blame anyone else.

Is this year’s merit pool 2% or 3%?

Someone is smoking something. No one gets 15% at FuServ.

BS, "merit increase" effective 5/1. Is that you Frank getting 15% pay increase already under the table as SSA commissioner? I am going to call Donald.

Manager here that finished doing comp planning a few days ago. As expected the raises this year are less than last year, so it's hard to get everyone to even 2%. Don't blink when you get your first check ~5/1/25 you might miss the change.

I suspect they are in discussions about how much of a cut in salary they will push on us while showing how many billions they have spent this year for stock buyback. This would not surprise me at all.

15% or 3%

A 15% merit increase is significant and typically awarded for exceptional performance. For example, Alex, a Sales Associate, received a 5% merit increase due to consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, which contributed to a 15% increase in revenue, indicating a "good" merit increase for someone in that role.

However, the average merit increase in 2024 was around 3.3%, according to Mercer's latest QuickPulse U.S. Compensation Planning Survey.
This suggests that a 15% merit increase is above average and usually reserved for top performers who have made substantial contributions to the organization.

If this is true then it’s related to a single person with unique/unusual circumstances. For the rest of us it’s BS because..

Fiserv don’t do anything good for employees.

Corporate merit cycle is effective 1st May.

US merit increase is based on 3%.
