Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Quitting this week

Finally quitting this awful job this week. I don’t have any plan but it’s better than lasting one more day in this he-l hole.

That is not a 'go forward' location. Good luck.

The Lords Son- good luck. I hope your experience is better than ours but I highly doubt it. The fact that so many of us feel this way, it’s not normal. I’m glad there might be others in the companies who feel differently, but it’s still not normal for us to be this miserable for a job.

Just accepted my offer to work for Fiserv.

I almost didn’t accept based on these comments but my ex coworker works there and said you all are a bunch of weird babies.

If you are an angry bird, let’s meet during my second week. I want to sprinkle Holy Water on your forehead.

I’m based in Terrell Mill.

Wish you all looking the very best luck! This is a very stressful place to work…especially in Omaha as from New York and Milwaukee Omaha is not thought of very highly.

I’ve been actively looking since about Dec but with RTO it’s really ramped up. Have had a few interviews and gotten close but no bites. Can’t wait for the day.

Do it if you can. I quit 7 months ago after 24 years. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Unbelievable what being at a “normal “ company can do for your mental health. Finally being treated as an adult, no more gaslighting, threats. My marriage and home life has improved and life is finally great again.

I’m at my breaking point. If I go to the first floor bathroom in Alpharetta and cry one more time…

I have an interview today, and enough money saved. It’s just not worth it anymore. I’ll take my chances and hopefully the universe will pay us all back with a good career after suffering here for so long.

Good for you. I wish I'd quit sooner. People will tell you to secure another job first, but if your mental health is shot, that's not really possible. Protect yourself first.

@bj, if you quit, you don't get severance, the goal of management.

Don't do it yet. Hold off while you look for another job. The market is awful and you might not find another one before severance runs out.
