Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

KPIs

Advertising: 4 lines for $100.
Then you have to sell at least 3 Perks $30, convince customers to switch to plus $80, sell them on insurance $60, set up fee $49., so now it's $270... then customers feel lied to. If we just take the 4 lines, we get coached for not hitting KPIs. It's a mess. We have 17 KPIs to meet.

They would rather lose new and existing customers if they don’t get Perks, Insurance and higher plans.

Bottom up selling has made me a lot of money over the years. Top down and having multiple “loaded” quotes just scares people away. If someone comes in the store and says they are price shopping close the lines and don’t listen to leadership about adding this and that.

Verizon will not make money because it's in their "Culture" to over manage. The leaders rather have high KPI % instead of making revenue and keeping customers. So we push customers away. Not saying quality matters but chill. Make volume matter 1st!

Scope creep. Too many metrics so none of them really matter that match. Sure a couple sit at the top of the list like pga and vhi but everything else falls to the wayside. Depending on the day the importance of the 25 other KPIs shuffle the value of importance. They are once again jumping the shark.

U need to add disney bundle perk to every line on the account, switch those with unlimited ultimate to plus and travel pass perk, and dont forget add the netflix and max to every line

I agree way too many KPI's. I'm just going to do the job to the best of my ability. To he-l with their KPI's I'm here to get paid.

The amount of effort required to hit each KPI isn’t worth the amount of money they pay us for said KPI. It’s a waste of time. None of it really matters; sell what makes you money, they can do anything do you for the KPIs. I promise. It’s all smoke and mirrors mirrors. Your managers want you to sell as many phones as possible. They pretend to care about the other KPIs bc they don’t want to be on a call for performance. Ugh I hate this place so much. Glad this is my last month!! Good luck, this ship is sinking fast
