Is it just me wondering about this.. Cigna has 63% women employees, yet when it comes to layoffs it is mostly men.

Yes, I personally know a female manager laid off from IT (network security).
I think one was cognizant. But the other 2 I’m not sure. One was an American agency in NJ. But Cigna only hires from certain agencies. You can’t come in your own and get hired as a contractor.

2 Indian female onshore contractor. 1 white male contractor. Each from different teams laid off even though contract wasn’t up.

Former Cigna worker here...and also female. I know quite a few other women who were let go in Oct. and Dec.
Echo'ing what poster above said. They laid off all on shore workers. No HIH workers were laid off. Should show you were this company is headed. Good luck!
You're looking into the wrong demographic. Plenty of women laid off today were women. How many were in India though?
