Lost someone on our team last week due to nonconformance of RTO policy. Manager was shocked as there was no warning, just a phone call the day off, telling them their employee is being terminated. Remember, we mean nothing to the company, treat your job as a means to earn income, don’t over commit and give your life to them.

If the manager was shocked, they haven’t been doing their job, have they? Shocked that the didn’t know their employee was on the list? Not buying that, sorry. They get notified that there is noncompliance. If their employee was failing, and they did nothing, they should be fired, too.
this is 100% happening. If you don't think so you're kidding yourself
“ Corey Anthony org.
Plano, Tx”
Fact.
Which report was it? The one that says you didn’t show up or the one that says you didn’t do eight hours?
Yep!
Corey Anthony org.
Plano, Tx
Clearing up that overloaded parking issue.
Absolutely happed in the Corey Anthony org last week.
More to come as the company looks to move to the next group under 8 hours.
"Why is everybody so damn scared to tell what org or city?"
Cuz it is a made up story
“ YOU LEFT WING DEMOCRAT FU-KSTICKS!”
Weak attempt troll. I’m as right wing as it gets & I know “RTO” is absolute rubbish. The true motivation is to “cull the herd”; when it’s the inept, grossly overpaid C suiters who need termination.
Firing? These employees basically resigned when failing to meet job requirements.

We lost 3 in our organization due to this :( and I have to pick up their work
Good, if you can't follow simple rules you do not need to work here.
Wonder if it was the guy whose wife was on here last night? He was a top performer and had just gotten a raise and the bonus, after all.
Org or location?
"But my Boss is cool with me coming in for 4 hours..."
Not complying sets up the employee for job abandonment, or insubordination. It would be the latter if the employee attempts to work remotely.
Either way, it's misconduct. No severance, no unemployment, and no Cobra. And given the economic situation, the job market holding up isn't a certainty, although unemployment claims are still currently low.
Yep, I heard it from my HR contact that firings are happening due to non-compliance of RTO policy.
“Manager was shocked as there was no warning.”
Id--t.
It only makes sense the termination would be quiet since the employee wasn’t meeting in perso requirements. The termination matched employee presence.
Well the good news is now your terminated team member doesn't have to come into the office ever.
