I just want my damn 1% merit raise. Is that too much to ask for? I work my A$$ off for my 1% damn it - now give it to me.

Sorry Everyone! Merits were delayed this year because we wanted to get someone 'ahem, ahem' out of the picture before we set the budget. He was a great mentor but somewhat of a tight wade if you ask me 'wink wink' anywho Just hang in their folks, I think you're gonna be very, very, grateful you waited.

Saw a communication out that merit process will begin mid April and will be effective May 1st this year

Quarterly earnings are barely being met and you want retroactive merit? Delayed merit is another lever that is being pulled to hit earnings. With clients fleeing, it’s a house of cards waiting to come crashing down. Usually those 10 years contracts keep clients from leaving but the deep senseless cuts leave clients no other choice…

Should have asked - Are we going to have a numerical increase to match up the inflation?

The answer is, no.

The merit increase is for you to be thankful to have a job 😂😂

They could back date the pay to April 1st even if they finally get around to it in July. They've done that before.

It just reeks of incompetence. Did they forget that there was going to be a next year?

Just be happy you have a paycheck while these layoffs are happening. and you worried about merit increases?! haha. it could always be worse and if you don’t like it, go find something else

I think the lack of communication is your answer.

there was a time when it was always retroactive to Jan 1. Of course the employees got sc--wed over once that stopped. Now it seems to get pushed further out each year.
That’s wage theft - every one of us loses out so they can pump the stock price.
Billions of $$ worth of stock buybacks and they can’t even give employees timely raises.

This place is beyond a joke
