SNP Social Work Care Managers Being Offered Transition To Support Ss Positions

Anyone know anything about social workers being asked to transition from SNP care managers to Support Social Workers? Are they laying off newly hired social workers or just transitioning social workers out of SNP care management?

Why does there have to be a reason? I heard some are not happy in a heavily medical knowledge based role so they are being offered a role more in line with their expertise. I've also heard it is not a mandatory move. if they are happy with their current role, they don't have to move.

Maybe it’s the move back to the nurse CMs, like they had a few years ago before social work was able to, and it has to do with the realignment and CMs moving over

I think social workers have to be licensed in order to be hired with them.
