Upper management are planning now with their top lawyers on how to escape lawsuits.
Mix old and new to the layoff list. They also need to train managers on what to answer and how to avoid questions during layoff meeting.
On top of that, bias and tribalism will be used in ratings and layoffs.

They are here and they are coming. They will spread it out in small waves across different locations throughout the year. That way they will not trigger any WARNs.

Layoffs are not immediately executed as soon as they’re announced. Anytime a company announces a mandated cost reduction plan, management thinks very carefully about who they’re going to let go. There’s a lot to consider: your performance, your attitude, your potential, your accomplishments, and your salary.

Give it time. You see the company’s wrath when it happens.
