Leadership is failing by directing teams to do work that serves no real purpose, tasks to become nothing more than a bullet point on a slide, ignored and forgotten within seconds. EH is back, and yes he’s a people person, but he lacks the courage to acknowledge reality and make tough calls. Instead of facing the truth, LT continues to push for more when there’s nothing. I worry about the future of this organization

CFO is a joke. Arrogant A-hat with no talent. Thanks AC putting your boy in place. This guy thinks so highly of himself. Why he hasn’t been shown the door is ridiculous.
The cfo has no operational experience and the company has lost $30B in value because of his failure of leadership . When will EH exit this clown??
The LT is not disappointed in themselves, they're doing just fine. HON sold a tidy $1,006,983 worth of stock at $71.18 a share last month. There is plenty of company value left for the LT to plunder. Nothing succeeds like failure at Big Sneaker.
These things take time, even though we don’t have much because we are bleeding.
Changing the CEO is not enough. Nike cannot rebound with the same senior leader cabal that led the company into this mess to begin with. This team doesn’t hold a candle to the Nike leaders of the past.
Until Nike starts replacing existing leadership, nothing is going to materially improve. The CEO wasn’t the only role which needed change.
Continue promoting more women to balance out gender differences at the top! That’ll solve our problems!
Leaders that are promoted without experience! Leading teams and creating work that doesn’t add any value just to make themselves look good. Micromanaging employees because they don’t have anything else to do! Detour from the Nike culture!
I hope it does not but the way it's trending, Nike maybe a Kodak story. Unfortunate for this awesome brand and employees who have given their all, to be destroyed by incompetent leadership like RAT, MD, MF, JD, CF and more.
No one has wanted Nike to succeed more than I have. I’ve stayed committed for a long time, hoping things would improve, but I’m exhausted by the endless cycle of stagnation. I truly believed EH would bring change and clean up the ineffective leadership, but unfortunately, MF, HON, and MD are still in place. The constant stream of strategy decks feels like a performative exercise with no real impact.
How many rounds of layoffs and rehires are we going to endure? What has that cost the company — financially and culturally? Are we really in a better place than we were in 2020? We’ve lost so many strong leaders who are now driving progress at our competitors. While TH is a step up from MM, there’s a lack of true strategic vision.
I held onto hope for a long time, but I just can’t anymore.
Put a fork in it...Nike's DONE.
