No other options.
Going to be the same no matter where you go. That’s always been the story in corporate. Have to learn to play the game. I never learned how, I always focused on results instead. That hasn’t gotten me anywhere. It’s gotten me a lot more work, a lot more responsibility, a lot of nights, weekends and holidays worked. Never gotten me a bigger bonus, big pay raise or a promotion. That being said, I’m going to go do my own thing. Build my own business. The cream doesn’t rise to the top, it sinks. All the Jobs, Bezos, Gates of the world never got promoted either. Want to know what does float at the top?

Sounds like someone else besides me is upset with their low merit increase that doesn’t even cover inflation.
I agree, they don’t take care of their people. I was told by my boss if I want to advance I have to move to Dallas. All I needed to know, time to move on. Take the initiative, find something better.
