Wouldn't you need 26 full years of service to get 52 weeks of severance?

Ty. I guess I was told wrong. One gets paid for the first 60 days as a non-working employee. Then paid 2 weeks of severance for 25 years plus of service for 52 weeks/12 months after the 60 days. I will ask when I get displaced to make sure. I appreciate you.

The article above states this. “ Continuation of health, dental, and vision insurance throughout the severance period”. So does this mean that after the 60-day non worming period are benefits paid by the company through the length of the severance pay period? I was under the impression that these benefits ended after the 60day non worming period. And the severed employee has the option to continue some health coverage by paying via COBRA.
