I talked to about 26 people in my department already and none are going to follow this directive of going to the office 3 or even 2 days a week. One person said they might go one day a week. No one is interested or amused by this subject.

If this is true. To the managers spot checking. I hope you all get bad karma for all the policing.
I am calling BS on this. They don’t have the power to make me go In
WFH for 2.5 years for so many has really pointed out how expensive and useless going into an office is. For most people, it take 2 to 3 hours before and after working hours to go into the office. Who doesn't love having this extra time each day.
My manager works in a different state from me and does not seem to care. I'm not going to take a pay cut (in terms of all the extra money spent commuting, buying clothes for the office, and unpaid time commuting) just so some executives can get their rocks off controlling people.
Managers will be required to verify staff is in offices by spot checking. If you’re willing to let it impact a performance rating, then have at it
Right. I am only hearing of those living a couple miles away say they will go in but not 3 days. Many of us live over 20+ miles from the office.
