@Pradeshguy Some managers have had to list accomplishments but I haven't heard anything about it being tied to layoffs.
Sounds like an inappropriate joke related to DOGE. Corporate layoffs usually involve a spread sheet which quantifies future value to the company along with present value against cost. This helps a manager with their 1 to N ranking. When cuts are needed, they can trim from the bottom until the budget or headcount target is met. In my first job, I had the same last name as a division VP (when VP actually meant something) and was CC’ed on an email with these instructions from an HR mo--n.
